Black skies,
Bright stars,
All in a whirlpool of,
Revival,
Thought,
And memory,

Soon,
The curtains of,
This otherworldly blend of wishes,
Hopes,
And imagination,
Are drawn closed,
Vanishing with the darkness of the,
Night,
Leaving all eyes bare to the,
Rays of sun,
Striking at the same speed,
Intensity,
And rhythm,
At which,
Reality returns,
Filled with the purpose to distinguish between,
A dream and,
And a dream-come-true.

Samiksha is a rising ninth grader at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. While writing, she enjoys experimenting with different genres and styles. She also enjoys adding multiple details to her writing so that she can create a vibrant setting for her readers. She also enjoys learning and playing the piano.
